Royal Rumble 2013 Prediction Contest Guidelines

It’s that time again. The Royal Rumble marks the anniversary of the first title we gave out for a champion, and since it’s a new year I’m going to change the rules up a bit. Considering our Title Maker’s schedule you’ve noticed we haven’t had a JPEG title in awhile. Since the title seems to be out, so does the exception rule. If you won last month you’re putting as much work in as the losers because, hey, I want everyone to have a fair chance of winning.

First to the prizes for the month. This month we have prizes from @stateofthelinds, @FutureEndeavors, and a joint prize from @lindseyhxx and Mike Dalton (NXT wrestler with the coolest pants ever).

This month we see the return of the Jabroni Jobber prize from Future Endeavors. This prize goes to the person who does the worse at predicting, that includes tie-breakers. The “winner” of this prize gets this.

Next is the prize from @stateofthelinds. My dear artistic friend, who does such work like this:

has agreed that one of the winners will get an 8×10 picture PORTRAIT of the superstar or diva of their choice!

The last prize this month goes to the other winner and is an autographed photo, taken by @lindseyhxx of Sunset Flip Photography and signed by NXT’s Mike Dalton.

Remember, to be eligible for prizes you must follow @mikedaltonwwe, @stateofthelinds, @lindseyhxx, and @FutureEndeavors (unless you are not a Twitter user).

The rules:

Pretty simple. I’ll give you the matches and tie-breakers and you predict who you see WINNING. I will not accept, “CM Punk to retain,” or I will mark it down as Punk wins. So even if he’s disqualified and retains his title, you lose the match because Rock technically won. I want to know who wins the match. DQ is an acceptable answer for matches (with DQ possibilities) as is No Contest. But “retain” is not.

You’ll be given a number once you enter. I will then post on the blog the scores a few minutes after the matches end. You can keep up with your score there. If you don’t remember your number, no worries, I’ll have them posted again.

To decide the two winners the predictions are split between Odds and Evens. If your number is odd, you are competing against the other Odds, evens against Evens. Out of the two winners the person who did better gets to choose which prize they would prefer, and the other person gets the other prize. Hey, both prizes are awesome, so don’t pout or I’ll give the prize to someone else.

Tie-Breaker 1: Last 4 Standing in the Rumble, and in order

(example, you have Orton winning the rumble) Cena, McIntyre, Lesnar, Orton (as in Cena gets eliminated, then McIntyre, then Lesnar, then Orton wins) Just give the 4 names.

Tie-Breaker 2: Who eliminates the most people in the Rumble?

Tie-Breaker 3: Who will be #1 and #2

Tie-Breaker 4: Who are the first 4 people eliminated? (not in order)
