Night of Champions Prediction Guidelines
Time flies, and this month went by in a hurry. Night of Champions is upon us and WWE granted me my wish and announced more matches!
Predictions run from Wednesday, September 12th – Saturday, September 15th at 11:59pm EST.
This month you are going to be split into two groups, so you are only competing against half of the people that enter. You’ll be split between odds and evens, and each have a champ who is exempt from tie-breakers to try to beat out. Shawn Decker will be defending against the evens and sxe_Edd will be defending against the odds. Shawn Decker is eligible for a prize this month, but Edd will not be, so even if Edd wins the title, someone else will be getting the prize!
Oh, and the prizes! This month Podswoggle decided on a great prize. YOU get to design your own T-shirt. Whichever design you turn in Podswoggle will make into a shirt and then I will proceed to buy you that shirt, so you still get the shirt. If you do not wish to design a shirt you may decide instead to just pick any Podswoggle shirt and you will get that as a prize. Remember, two people will win this prize.
Thanks to Future Endeavors and Corey, Nick, and Don there will be a Jabroni prize once again! This month sees the return of Colt Cabana merchandise. If you were here last month you know that it’s anything from the Cabana shop that’s $20 or under (which includes almost everything). There will only be one Jabroni prize, though, and that goes to the person who does the absolute worst in predictions.
Now, the rules on predicting! I just want names. I want who the WINNER of the match will be. I don’t want “CM Punk retains,” I want “CM Punk” and I’ll mark him as the winner. If you think Cena wins, but Punk retains the title, the winner is “John Cena”. You may also use “No Contest” if you believe no one will win the match.
If you give me more than names and decide to give reasons it better be clear who you have winning, or this month the winner will be Dean Ambrose. Some people like to get cute with their descriptions and after asking 3 or 4 people I still can’t figure out who they are predicting.
You also may not purposefully throw the contest to get the Jabroni prize. Now, I don’t care if you take the road of, “I’m going to guess the losers,” that’s fine. But if you are predicting ridiculously for winners you will be disqualified.
When you enter you will be given a number, that number is pretty much how I’ll identify you throughout the week as it’s much easier for me! On Sunday I will post a reminder of the numbers, so if you forget by PPV time no worries, it’ll be on the site.
Predictions may be left in the comments below, emailed to me SolaceWinter@yahoo.com or sent to my dms on twitter, @SolaceWinter.
Now for the matches you must predict!
(yes, you have to guess a name that will win)
Tie-Breaker 1: Name 6 Men who will be in the Battle Royal
Antonio Cesaro vs. Battle Royal winner
(On this one you may say Battle Royal winner as opposed to a name, if you put a name, bonus points BUT if it’s not the person you guessed, even if it’s the Battle Royal winner you don’t get it because you put a name)
Randy Orton vs. Dolph Ziggler
The Miz vs. Rey Mysterio vs. Sin Cara vs. Cody Rhodes
Sheamus vs. Alberto Del Rio
R-Truth & Kofi Kingston vs. Kane & Daniel Bryan
Tie-Breaker 2: How many times does Daniel Bryan say ‘no’ during his entrance?
Tie-Breaker 3: How many times will “Best in the World” be mentioned throughout the Preshow and PPV.
Layla vs. Kaitlyn
CM Punk vs. John Cena
