Wrestlemania Prediction Guidelines

It’s that time again, and now it is for the biggest prediction challenges of the year! Wrestlemania XXVIII is here and ready to challenge everyone, or not depending on your take. There are eight announced matches and a JPEG title on the line. The current title holder is @MarkBilly. Will you be the one to steal it from him?

The matches you must predict this PPV are as follows:

John Cena vs. The Rock

Triple H vs. The Undertaker

-Tie Breaker Part 1: How many 2 counts during this match?

-Tie Breaker Part 2: Who has the most 2 counts during this match?

CM Punk vs. Chris Jericho

Daniel Bryan vs. Sheamus

Cody Rhodes vs. The Big Show

Randy Orton vs. Kane

Team Teddy vs. Team Johnny

Maria Menounos & Kelly Kelly vs. Beth Phoenix & Eve

EXAMPLES OF HOW TO WRITE THE PREDICTIONS! – There are 42 of you SO FAR. Please follow the example. It’s a lot of work for me every month to go through and fix them.

Triple H vs. The Undertaker

There is no way that Undertaker is going to lose his streak to Triple H when he could go out 20-0. Winner: Undertaker

Tie Breaker 1: 15

Tie Breaker 2: Undertaker

CM Punk vs. Chris Jericho

Chris Jericho’s contract is said to be running out, I doubt they are giving the title to another person on their way out. Winner: CM Punk

  1. John Cena Vs The Rock
    Winner – The Rock
Feel the rock will win well I just hope he wins and kicks cenas candy ass!! #TeamBringIt

    Undertaker Vs Triple H
    Winner – Undertaker
Taker has to win his earned every right for the streak to stay intact and i feel that HBK could screw over HHH!

    Team Teddy Vs Team Lauranitus
    Winner: Team Teddy

Think Team Teddy will win because TL has been in the WWE to long to just lose and give smackdown to JL having said that I dont think TL could manage raw properly! Still want Team TL to win tho!

    Randy Orton Vs Kane
    Winner – Randy Orton

Orton to win as if he were to lose it would make him look weak

    Sheamus vs Bryan
    Winner – Bryan

Reckon that Bryan will get a dirty win and I don’t feel sheamus is quite World Heavyweight Champion material yet!

    Punk Vs Jericho
    Winner – Punk

After weeks and weeks of jerichos comments i just can’t see Punk losing this! Punk to win after hitting the GTS twice! 🙂

    Rhodes Vs Big Show
    Winner – Rhodes

Show has had poor WM career and I feel this is the time for Rhodes to shine!

MM and Kelly Kelly vs Beth Phoneix and Eve
    Winner – Beth and Eve

Don’t really keep up with divas wrestling but judging by the match I say Beth and Eve would dominate! But Kharma will get involved during the match!

  2. John Cena vs. The Rock

Cena will win because Rock will pass the torch like Hogan did to Rock. Rock isn’t there full time anyway.
    Winner: John Cena

    Triple H vs. The Undertaker

Nobody will end the streak. Maybe HBK will superkick HHH or something, who knows.
    Winner: The Undertaker

-Tie Breaker Part 1: 9 two counts

-Tie Breaker Part 2: Triple H

    CM Punk vs. Chris Jericho

Same as Rock vs Cena. Jericho won’t be there full time and he will pass the torch.
    Winner: CM Punk

    Daniel Bryan vs. Sheamus

Sheamus will win, he’s been unstoppable and Bryan needs to get rid of the title ASAP.
    Winner: Sheamus

Cody Rhodes vs. The Big Show

Not only is Big Show a joke artist, Cody needs to legitimize himself more because he hasn’t defended his title a whole lot.
    Winner: Cody Rhodes

    Randy Orton vs. Kane

*sigh* This is going to hurt me so much, but Orton won’t lose to Kane at freaking wrestlemania.
    Winner: Randy Orton

    Team Teddy vs. Team Johnny

Team Teddy looks like crap and I have the feeling WWE wants to keep Laurinaitis on TV.
    Winner: Team Johnny.

Maria Menounos & Kelly Kelly vs. Beth Phoenix & Eve

    Celebrity wins lol.
Winner: Maria Menounos & Kelly Kelly

  3. Tie Breakers

    Rock Vs Cena

    TB 1 – 21
    TB 2 – Cena

    Taker vs Triple H

    TB 1 – 11
    TB 2 – Triple H

    Orton Vs Kane

    TB 1 – 6
    TB 2 – Orton

    Jericho Vs Punk

    TB 1 – 17
    TB 2 – Jericho

    Rhodes Vs Big Show

    TB 1 – 6
    TB 2 – Rhodes

MM and Kelly Kelly vs Beth and Eve

    TB 1 – 3
TB 2 – Beth and Eve

    Team Teddy vs Team Laranitus

    TB 1 – 28
    TB 2 – Team Teddy

    Sheamus Vs Bryan

    TB1 – 8
    TB2 – Sheamus

  4. @MrsZigglesworth

    John Cena vs The Rock-
Winner- Cena, because Rock beat Hogan 10 years ago. Then, Rock was in Cena’s position, & Hogan was the “legend” like Rocky is now.

    Undertaker vs Triple H-
    Winner- Undertaker, because DUH.
Tie breaker part 1: at least 5 2-counts.
Tie breaker part 2: I think Triple H gets the 2-counts on Taker who still appears to be freakishly strong & kicks out.

    Team Teddy vs Team Johnny-
Winner- Team Johnny, because they seem much more powerful than the goofiest gimmick babyfaces on Team Teddy.

    Randy Orton vs Kane-
Winner- Randy Orton with an RKO “out of nowhere”.

    Sheamus vs Bryan-
Winner- It could go either way for me on this because Sheamus is winning every match since RR and is being built up like crazy, but maybe DB will do something underhanded or dirty to win. SO UNDECIDED.
    I guess I’ll pick Bryan.

    Punk vs Jericho-
Winner- Punk. I see this as a big match to promote Punk as a top level star. I don’t think Jericho’s contract is ending anytime soon, but I know he’s going on tour with his band this summer.

    Cody Rhodes vs Big Show-
Winner- Cody Rhodes, because I can’t see WWE putting a belt for mid-carders on Big Show who’s had a lot of opportunities in the company already.

MM & Kelly Kelly vs Eve & Beth Phoenix-
Winners- Eve & Beth because obviously MM isn’t going to be a Diva and I don’t see any reason why Beth should lose the belt.

  5. SirTweets_ALot

    Cena vs Rock

This is the most anticipated match of all time, in my estimation, and I think it will be a major letdown. I believe that they are going to milk this Cena/Rock feud for as long as they can. I predict that there will be a run-in that makes it a no contest. My prediction for the run-in is Brock Lesnar.

    No Contest.

    HHH vs UT

It there is anything sacred in the WWE anymore, it is Undertaker’s record. I can’t see Triple H winning, unless Undertaker withstands a horrible injury during the match that leaves him unable to compete.

    Winner: Taker
    Tiebreaker 1: 22
    Tiebreaker 2: Hunter

Best in the World vs Best in the World at what I do

I’m not a Jericho mark, nor have I ever been. His return is a whole lot of nothingness to me, and I really could care less. I don’t see him sticking around the WWE for very long after Mania. Furthermore, I believe that Punk will win with Jericho’s finishing maneuver, the Walls of Jericho.

    Winner: Punk

    D-Bry vs Shame-O

Daniel Bryan is amazing, and nobody can argue that. Sheamus is a very successful midcarder in my eyes. I don’t see this match lasting as long as a Mania WHC match should.

    Winner: Bryan Danielson

The Dashing One vs The Oversized One

At this point, I’m just sounding like a smark that hates everybody, but I don’t care for Cody Rhodes or Big Show either. However, I think it’s time for Cody Rhodes to drop the IC title and make a legitimate WHC run.

    Winner, via KO punch: Fatshit

    RKO vs Kane

I think this match can steal the show. I think that the winner of this match is going to be in the title match at the next PPV, and I think it’s going to be Randal Keith Orton.

Winner by RKO OUT OF FUCKING NOWHERE: Randy

    Team Theodore vs Team Johnathan

    #BitchesLoveBigJohnny

Team Teddy is a bunch of jobbers, and Team Teddy is made up of a bunch of awesome motherfuckers. David Otunga is going to get the final pinfall, and Mark Henry is going to do the most damage. MARK HENRY IS GOING TO SWEAT.

    WInner: Team Johnny

Team Slut vs Team Manly Slut

Fuck this match. Kharma is going to come and clean house, beat the fuck out of Beth Phoenix, and Maria is going to get the pinfall.

Winner by Slut capitalizing on run-in: Cumdumpster Kelly and Extra Whore Maria

  6. John Cena vs. The Rock

The most hyped match in double double e history. Yet to me the hype has been lackluster. Im torn between the hometown hero and the franchise player. The Rock or John Cena? Both make good points on why they should win but at the end of the day who’s there to stay? Cena. So for that reason….. Winner : John Cena

    Triple H vs. The Undertaker

With the inclusion of HBK has the special ref during this match I except it to be nothing less than a 4star matchup. The “End of an Era” match is to be decided inside Satan’s playground, Hell In A Cell. These 3 helped make this matchup what it is today. Hopefully with the limitations of Taker in the ring doesn’t stop this from being as brutal as I think this match can be. The key factor in this match also is HBK. Will he screw Taker and help his long time friend HHH win and finally end the streak? Will HBK side with Taker and screw HHH? Or will he call it down the middle? The only person who knows is HBK himself. Winner : Taker

    -Tie Breaker Part 1: 17 2 counts

-Tie Breaker Part 2: Triple H

    CM Punk vs. Chris Jericho

This is the match im most anxious to see. It’s Best in the world vs. Best in the world. CM Punk vs Chris Jericho. Now I would just be happy seeing them have a match at Mania but with the WWE Title on the line makes it all that more important. In recent weeks we’ve seen Jericho talk about Punk’s father, sister, and most recently his mother. Saying that 2 of 3 we’re screw-ups and that Punk is doomed to follow. No doubt CM Punk is going to rip Jericho apart in what should and will be a great technical match at Mania. Winner : CM Punk

    Daniel Bryan vs. Sheamus

Now I don’t watch Smackdown all that much so I don’t really have a lot of input on this one other than Bryan being a chickenshit heel and Sheamus the royal rumble winner looking to win the title at Mania. No doubt it should be a good match provided they get a good amount of time and aren’t bumped off the card for the dark match. I think AJ Lee will have the deciding factor in this match tho. Winner : Daniel “YES YES YES” Bryan

Cody Rhodes vs. The Big Show

Cody makes fun of Big Show. Big show cry’s. Teddy makes a match at Mania. While I go take a Big Show. But seriously, I don’t see Show wining here as his track record shows he usually chokes at the show of shows. And Cody is the younger guy who should be put over. Winner : Cody Rhodes

    Randy Orton vs. Kane

Im convinced Vince Russo has a job in WWE again. Why is this a Mania match? I get that both of them have nothing to do and they had a thing goin during the summer. But I dont see this being an instant classic. Kane most likely will eat a few RKO’s and possibly a punt. Winner Randy Orton

    Team Teddy vs. Team Johnny

    Winner : Team Johnny

Maria Menounos & Kelly Kelly vs. Beth Phoenix & Eve

Snack break. Winner : Kelly Kelly and Maria Menounos ( I cringed writing that)

  7. John Cena vs. The Rock

Actually looking forward to this one, dont particularly care for either but I know How important each of them is and how significant a meeting like this is – same as Hogan/Rock, Hogan/Michaels etc. Im going with Cena because he needs the win more…Rock will get a rematch and win (maybe at Summerslam) and next year’s the rubber match. Wishing Cena would turn heel (perhaps an alliance with the Miz to help his win) but I know its unlikely. Winner: John Cena

    Triple H vs. The Undertaker

Undertaker goes 20-0. With or without interference from Shawn Michaels. Perhaps a tombstone for the special ref after the match? This time Trip will be unable to leave the ring unassisted. Undie’s been one of my faves since ’90, he should never lose the streak…
    Winner: Undertaker

-Tie Breaker Part 1: How many 2 counts during this match?

Not many pinfalls since its Hell in a Cell until the end, so I say 10.

-Tie Breaker Part 2: Who has the most 2 counts during this match?

    Triple H has more: 6

    CM Punk vs. Chris Jericho

Jericho wins the title after a great match, some shenanigans. (perhaps Christian can make an appearance?)
    Winner: Chris Jericho

    Daniel Bryan vs. Sheamus

Not too concerned about this one- i like Daniel Bryan but Sheamus needs to capitalise on his win at the Rumble so Sheamus wins this one when AJ turns on Daniel.
    Winner: Sheamus

Cody Rhodes vs. The Big Show

Big Show’s woeful win-loss record at Mania continues, with Rhodes getting a clean pinfall. Nuff said.
    Winner: Cody Rhodes

    Randy Orton vs. Kane

Another match Im not too worried about – obvious Orton is almost untouchable and he’s probably going to win but Im rooting for Kane since he’s about to retire – they could always have a rematch next month with Orton getting the upper hand. Make this match interesting by making the winner no.1 contender to the Smackdown champ – setting up Sheamus/Kane matches.
    Winner: Kane

    Team Teddy vs. Team Johnny
Unfortunately Team Teddy has a few superstars, a commentator and a barely mobile giant. No chance in hell. Team Johnny takes it. Miz gets the winning fall.
    Winners: Team Johnny

Maria Menounos & Kelly Kelly vs. Beth Phoenix & Eve
Not too worried, but Im going for Beth and Eve here. I like them better. Perhaps interference from Natalya?
    Winners: Beth Phoenix & Eve

  8. Brooklyn Brawla

    John Cena vs The Rock

Cena’s in-ring ability has never improved beyond OVW. His promos are the same tired cadence & goofy faces. If WCW had won the “war” he’d still be mid-carding & tagging with Disco Inferno.
    Winner: The Rock

    HHH vs Undertaker

People are worried about Trips winning to appease his ego, but they forget Vince alone controls everything about Mania. He’s so protective about Taker that if you even mention the words “American Badass” to him he’ll flip the fuck out.
    Winner: Undertaker
    Tiebreaker 1: 8 near falls
    Tiebreaker 2: HHH with 6

    CM Punk vs Chris Jericho

Over rated Chris “I add the word Lion to everything and claim it’s original” Jericho just signed an extension so they can continue the feud. Honestly you could swap Jericho with Carlito since they use the same moves. At least Carlito has an apple.
    Winner: Carlito Jericho

    Daniel Bryan vs Sheamus

This is a tricky one. Do they continue with a great character & storyline or does HHH’s workout buddy get the win. Logically Shhheamus would win, but Vince will have consumed upwards of 30 energy drinks before this match starts.
    Winner: Fave 5 D Bry

Cody Rhodes vs The Big Show

Cody goes over, possibly with a little help.
    Winner: Cody Rhodes

    Randy Orton vs Kane
    I just don’t care.
    Winner: Kane

    Team Teddy vs Team Johnny

Teddy’s team consists of comedy acts, a broadcaster, and Kofi. Johnny’s team is stacked with past champions & future champions. This storyline has at least 1 more month before it feels like the “invasion”.
    Winner: Team Teddy

Maria Menudo & K2 vs Beth Phoenix & Eve

Maria broke her anorexic ribs at Dancing With Has-beens so I really don’t see her trying to get in the ring. This may actually be the match to watch. Does Vince bring back Kharma to take her place or does he make Kelly suck Eve’s dick? My prediction will include both scenarios.
Winner: Kharma return? Kharma & Kelly.
Winner : No Kharma? Beth & Eve

  9. Kevin Hellions

    John Cena vs. The Rock.
Cena will still be there Monday. Cena needs to win. Much like Rock had to win vs. Hogan 10 years ago, this must be Cena’s match.

    Triple H vs. The Undertaker.
Taker wins. It will be brutal. Shawn will either refuse to do a 3 count with Hunter as the winner. Or he’ll superkick Hunter because he doesn’t want Triple H to achieve what he couldn’t.

-Tie Breaker Part 1: How many 2 counts during this match?
    14.

-Tie Breaker Part 2: Who has the most 2 counts during this match?
    Hunter.

    CM Punk vs. Chris Jericho.
Jericho just signed a contract extension. Punk wins. They will face each other at least once more, if not 3 or 4 PPV main events. But ‘Mania will not be Jericho’s night.

    Daniel Bryan vs. Sheamus.
Sheamus. He needs this title win to get over. Bryan found himself as a heel, and there’s a lot of fun places he can go after losing the belt.

Cody Rhodes vs. The Big Show
Rhodes. A big WrestleMania win will put him in the world title picture.

    Randy Orton vs. Kane.
Kane. Orton will be fine, but Kane has nothing going for him.

    Team Teddy vs. Team Johnny.
Team Teddy. The band of misfits winning, plus Johnny’s team wanting some payback later on is a more interesting future booking.

Maria Menounos & Kelly Kelly vs. Beth Phoenix & Eve
Celebrities don’t come in to lose. Unfortunately, Maria and Kelly get the win.

  10. John Cena vs. The Rock

Cena all the way… but what sets up the next story?!

    Triple H vs. The Undertaker

Taker… completely clean win. when the undertaker sits up the place will explode.

-Tie Breaker Part 1: How many 2 counts during this match?

5 for HHH. none for Taker.

-Tie Breaker Part 2: Who has the most 2 counts during this match?

    HHH

    CM Punk vs. Chris Jericho

    Punk.

    Daniel Bryan vs. Sheamus

    Gonna Stay with DBryan

Cody Rhodes vs. The Big Show

    Rhodes has to take this.

    Randy Orton vs. Kane

    Orton FTW

    Team Teddy vs. Team Johnny

    Team Teddy

Maria Menounos & Kelly Kelly vs. Beth Phoenix & Eve

    MM and KK take it.

  11. Tom Sherwood (@TomQWood)

    John Cena vs. The Rock

Only way that Rock has a chance here is if there will be a re-match next year (DEAR GOD NO!!!!!1). I see this happening though. If they make enough money here, they can have Rock win, and Cena win next year.

    Winner: The Rock

    Triple H vs. The Undertaker

-Tie Breaker Part 1: How many 2 counts during this match?

    13

-Tie Breaker Part 2: Who has the most 2 counts during this match?

    Triple H

I think this match will set up Shawn Michaels vs Triple H at WM 29. Shawn Michaels will screw Trips out of jealousy or something, building on the Shawn vs Trips subtext being built within this match. Plus, 20-0.

    Winner: Undertaker

    CM Punk vs. Chris Jericho

This is CM Punk’s chance to shine at WM. I think Jericho is the perfect opponent to put him over. Maybe Punk drops the title to Chris at Extreme Rules, but not tonight.

    Winner: CM Punk

    Daniel Bryan vs. Sheamus

I think they’ll have the title switch hands here, can’t have no titles being exchanged at ‘Mania. Bryan is a brilliant heel, and Sheamus needs the title so he can get out of the funk he is in. Bryan can still be in the title picture while being a real prick. Sheamus is overdue for the WHC.

    Winner: Sheamus

Cody Rhodes vs. The Big Show

There would be no point to big Show winningthe IC title off Cody Rhodes here. Cody has been bringing it in this feud, making me care about what’s probably going to be a throwaway match. Show just doesn’t add anything to the IC. Maybe Cody can drop the belt after the draft.

    Winner: Cody Rhodes

    Randy Orton vs. Kane

Sad they brought back Kane to job to Cena and Orton. A neat spot for an RKO I imagine will finish this match. Too bad because maybe Kane should be in the title picture.

    Winner: Randy Orton

    Team Teddy vs. Team Johnny

WWE may be insufferable if Teddy Long wins here. The guy is so stale and adds nothing to the show in his current form. No one cares if the faces get all the advantages under Teddy, but people will care if the heels get advantages under Johnny. Johnny Ace is awesome right now, and I love it when faces need to overcome real odds, instead of goddamn Teddy Long.

    Winner: Team Johnny.

Maria Menounos & Kelly Kelly vs. Beth Phoenix & Eve

I don’t think they’d bring in a celebrity just to have her lose a match. Maria Menounos hasn’t even bothered to show up at RAW. This kind of match doesn’t interest me really, but what can ya do? Natalya as a face replacement for Maria would be amazing here.

Winner: Kelly Kelly & Maria Memounos

  12. Hey Everyone! I haven’t watched any WWE programming since Night Of Champions, so you’ll have to excuse me if I epicly fail in my predictions. I have managed to keep tabs on certain feuds though, so hopefully this won’t be a total trainwreck :)Haven’t

    1) John Cena vs. The Rock

This is a tough one to pick… *Eenie meenie miney moe*… Well, Moe never lies

    Winner: John Cena

    2) Triple H vs. The Undertaker

Undertaker. Can you imagine the outrage if someone broke the streak? Especially Triple H.

    Winner: Undertaker

    -Tie Breaker Part 1: 16

-Tie Breaker Part 2: Triple H

    3) CM Punk vs. Chris Jericho

It’s kind of hard to call this. Will WWE use Chris Jericho to put CM Punk over? But by doing that, wouldn’t that be building CM Punk up to be some unbeatable force? Who else could possibly compete with him? Okay, maybe a lot of people, but who in the lockeroom could match him and even seem like a worthy opponent realistically? How much farther could this feud go, if Chris won? Knowing Punk, he wouldn’t just be like “Dang, I lost. Oh Well. Deuces, Chris!” He would want a rematch. And if Chris lost, his cocky, over confident character (is that his gimmick, or does he have a new one since his return?) wouldn’t leave without a rematch, either. Wow, I just confused myself…

    Winner: CM Punk

    4) Daniel Bryan vs. Sheamus

Nothing much to say on this, since I have no idea.

    Winner: Sheamus

    5) Cody Rhodes vs. The Big Show

Looking at Big Show’s Wrestlemania record, I can deduct that he has simply become nothing more than a tool, a “tourist attraction” WWE uses to draw in people hoping they will be “fascinated” by the Big Show’s size. His only purpose, in my opinion, is to lose to up and coming wrestlers to put them over. Considering how many times this is used, I would be interested to see how many superstars in the lockeroom can claim to have beaten the Big Show. Can you say “A Lot?” Exactly. It has no longer become something of accomplishment to beat him, sadly.

    Winner: Cody Rhodes

    6) Randy Orton vs. Kane

I honestly didn’t even know these two were feuding… I’m going to say Randy though, because the last time I remember him loosing a match was… Ummm… I got nothing :/
But I will say that knowing the Viper’s (is he even still called that?) temper, I can only assume that a wrestlemania loss would not set well with him.

    Winner: Randy Orton

    7) Team Teddy vs. Team Johnny

Teddy Long has been around for a LONG time, whereas John can be considered a fairly new face in WWE (storyline wise). Having him lose would essentially bury him as being a credible character, where I feel that Teddy’s gimmick has run it’s course. While I’m not saying that he should completely disappear, someone needs to replace him.

    Winner: Team Johnny

    8) Maria Menounos & Kelly Kelly vs. Beth Phoenix & Eve

As much as it hurts to say so, I’m going to have to go with Kelly and Maria on this one. Due to the fact that WWE has put in effort to advertise that Maria Menounos is in this match, it doesn’t seem like they’d let her lose. It could be compared to many fans hyping up The Hunger Games movie, but when they see it, they’re like “Wow… I told everyone that THIS was going to be good? *facepalm*”

Winner: Kelly Kelly and Maria Menounos

  13. Melodelish4286

    John Cena vs The Rock

Cena needs to win to remain “the man” and Rock is leaving and probably not returning for another year

    Winner: John Cena

    Triple H vs Undertaker

Taker needs to go to 20-0 before he rides into the sunset and retires

    Winner: Undertaker

    Tie breaker Part 1: 8

Tie breaker Part 2: Triple H

    CM Punk vs. Chris Jericho

Punk is the future where Jericho is the past, but I look for these two to continue feuding until Fozzy goes on tour

    Winner: CM Punk

    Daniel Bryan vs. Sheamus

WWE is touring Ireland in a few weeks, so D-Bry isn’t taking the belt out with him, I’m looking for AJ to screw things up

    Winner: Sheamus

    Cody Rhodes vs. Big Show

Show is still popular with the fans and has had a shit run at past Wrestlemanias, I look for him to turn it around and teach Cody a lesson

    Winner: Big Show

    Randy Orton vs. Kane

The match I’m looking forward to the least because the feud has a stupid basis, but Kane needs to turn around his losing streek and show he’s still a monster to be reckoned with

    Winner: Kane

    Team Teddy vs. Team Johnny

Teddy dresses better and Santino is better then Otunga

    Winner: Team Teddy

Maria Menunos & Kelly Kelly vs. Eve & Beth Pheonix

I take back what I said, I’ll look forward to this the least, but I’m sure the celebrity will win, they always do

Winner: Maria Menunos & Kelly Kelly

  14. John Cena Vs The Rock
Winner – Who cares? Oh wait, John Cena.
SuperCena strikes again. And, when Rock leaves for another three to six months, John shouldn’t look like a big loser. OTOH, the Cena Haters will probably inundate the ring with warm beers and CENA SUCKS shirts, if not full-out riot. Good thing they put this stinker at the end so the arena burning down won’t make the PPV — just the evening news.

    Undertaker Vs Triple H
    Winner – Undertaker
If it was anyone young and hungry and not Triple H, I would say Taker was passing the torch. But uhm…this isn’t even close to that. It’s going to be brutal and probably one of the shorter HiaC matches we’ve ever seen, because I don’t think Taker has been training that much for the match based on some very recent photos of him looking thin and with a little pot belly. BONUS PREDICTION: Shawn will TRY to help Trips and end up superkicking him instead of Taker, who will win and go home for another year, satisfied that Shawn’s still bettah. LOL

    Team Teddy Vs Team Lauranitus
    Winner: Team Johnny

They put serious wrestlers on one team, and mostly zany guys on the other team. Plus, Clown Shoes is very over as a heel, while Teddy Long is a face who has been around a little too long. BONUS PREDICTION: Aksana heel turn to become Johnny’s GF and perhaps winning his team the match through the shock of it all. Or her giant fake boobs. One or the other.

    Randy Orton Vs Kane
    Winner – Randy Orton

Uhm…DUH. Of COURSE Randy is going to win. Kane’s last big run is over, and he is still wrestling because he loves it and his role now is to put over younger talent. He is essentially a veteran who can work with anyone, and right now he’s serving as a placeholder guy. Randy is coming off multiple injuries and needs a nice win to regain momentum for his inevitable run back to the title picture. In Internet speak: YOU GONNA GET RKO’D

    Sheamus vs Bryan
    Winner – Sheamus

It’s time for Sheamus to have a big title again, and he is more than capable of having a nice multi-PPV feud with the YESYESYES Man. Bryan is HOT as a heel, and will be with or without the title around his waist. They finally figured out how to use him properly. BONUS PREDICTION: Sheamus has been giving Certain Looks to AJ, who seems just a liiiiiitle too meek, especially considering how smart she is. Look for either a face turn with her helping Sheamus, or a “special moment” between her and Sheamus where the Great White treats her the way a real man should. Anyway, I look for these two to have a multi-PPV feud and probably exchanging AJ and the title once more before it’s all over.

    Punk Vs Jericho
    Winner – Jericho

There is no point to Jericho getting under Punk’s skin unless it WORKS, at least once. The next PPV (Extreme Rules) is 17 miles from Chicago in Rosemont, and it would be like MITB 2011 off the hook to see Punkles go full throttle for the title in his hometown area again, winning yet again. I know it’s against WWE unwritten policy to let a guy win in his hometown, much less twice in a row, but it works for the storyline and it works for Punk, who is different from the average wrestlin’ guy. Also, if Punk loses the title in Chicago, they might actually have a riot, and nobody wants that. So yes, Jeritroll for the title this time, Punk next time.

    Rhodes Vs Big Show
    Winner – Big Show

Show, even though he is aging, is still a bigger star than Cody and he needs the win FAR more than Cody does considering his WM track record (so painfully pointed out). I can see him and Cody having a multi-PPV battle, depending on how this match goes. If Cody proves he can work with Show beyond good promos, they will probably invest further in the storyline. Otherwise, just like Jericho/Punk, what has been the point of all that promo time? Even if it’s a one-shot PPV deal, Show still needs the win the most. Cody could use the momentum of anger to propel him on to bigger and better titles.

MM and Kelly Kelly vs Beth Phoneix and Eve
    Winner – Beth and Eve

A time-filler match if there ever was one. Folks, ain’t no way Miss Morning Show with a busted rib is going to pin Beth P. Not gonna happen. And at the moment, K2 is not at the top. The company knows EVERYONE wants Beth/Kharma, and Beth will retain the wins and the strap until Kharma comes back (if she ever does). No point in making Beth job to a non-wrestler (again!) right before a monster feud that everyone has been anticipating for over a year. OTOH, the booking fail is strong with the WWE team, so yeah. >8P

  15. Triple H vs. The Undertaker:

As appalling as it is, I don’t think Taker’s streak will ever be broken. I think he’ll retire without losing at Mania… Unless he dies first.
    Winner: Undertaker

    -Tie Breaker Part 1: 7

-Tie Breaker Part 2: Triple H

    CM Punk vs. Chris Jericho:

Jericho wins and the feud continues. Punk regains the belt at home in Chicago.
    Winner: Jericho

    Daniel Bryan vs. Sheamus:
    Winner: Sheamus

Cody Rhodes vs. The Big Show:
    Winner: Rhodes

    Randy Orton vs. Kane:

I really don’t understand the point of this random-ass match. I’m basically just randomly guessing.
    Winner: Orton

    Team Teddy vs. Team Johnny:

I realize this is a counterintuitive choice, but I’m choosing to believe that Teddy’d team is the result of more than just shitty booking. Having such a rag-tag team of faces win would appeal to buyers who din’t regularly watch wrestling, a demographic that the WWE tends to cater to at Mania. Beyond that, the loss would give the members of Team Johnny something to feud over for weeks after Mania.
    Winner: Team Teddy

Maria Menounos & Kelly Kelly vs. Beth Phoenix & Eve:

I don’t think they’d bring MM back to beat Beth’s team a second time, and we haven’t seen a whole lot of Kelly Kelly (THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!).
    Winner: Beth Phoenix & Eve
